Cultural Resilience

Throughout human history, cultures have come and gone -- some leaving lasting impacts on the world and some getting lost to the ages. Resilience of a culture is that capacity to maintain cultural identity, history, practices, and knowledge through time and troubles. Despite those unique challenges each culture undergoes, resilient cultures are able to maintain and develop, keeping in touch with the things and people that formed the culture and made it extraordinary.
